H.E.L.F (Hugel Expert Leader’s Forum), which first started in 2013, is Hugel’s representative academic forum that shares the latest academic insights and procedural know-how with medical professionals and stakeholders in the domestic and international beauty and plastic surgery fields. This year’s theme is ‘Towards Genuineness: In pursuit of aesthetic strategies for all ages.’ It conveys the aesthetic values that Hugel ultimately pursues while pledging to establish H.E.L.F as a hub for exchange contributing to the development of the global aesthetic industry.

The event, held at the Siam Kempinski Hotel in Bangkok for the first time in four years since 2019 in the Thailand region, featured a total of 11 speakers, including authorities from Thailand, Korea, and China. They delivered 13 lectures across six sessions, covering the latest medical aesthetic trends in Asia and integrated procedural solutions suited to these trends.

The first session, led by Moon Hyung-jin, Vice President of Hugel’s Medical Headquarters, introduced Hugel’s botulinum toxin (BTX) product ‘Letybo’ (domestic product name: Botulex) and presented the latest clinical results. Over the next three sessions, discussions were held on anatomical characteristics, procedural trends, and methods tailored to various age groups ranging from their 20s to over 50s. The final session provided detailed explanations on procedural methods for the male grooming group, which has recently emerged as a new consumer pillar in the aesthetic field.

About 270 Thai medical professionals and stakeholders attended the event, along with approximately 40 healthcare professionals (HCPs) from China and Taiwan. From the start of the lectures through session Q&A and panel discussions, there was enthusiastic participation.

On the following day, a ‘Cadaver Master Class’ was organized for over 40 HCPs from China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. Director Hong Ki-woong of Sam Skin Plastic Surgery Clinic participated as the course director, and three professors from Chulalongkorn University in Thailand and Sichuan University in China lectured on effective BTX and filler procedures for different facial areas?upper, middle, and lower parts?using ultrasound equipment. This workshop marked Hugel’s seventh on-site practical training session in Thailand and received high praise and focus, achieving a 99.9% satisfaction rate from over 90% of participating HCPs.

A Hugel representative stated, “This ‘H.E.L.F in Bangkok’ and ‘Cadaver Master Class’ were organized to share the latest beauty and plastic surgery trends and various procedural methods specialized for the Asian region in Thailand, one of the aesthetic powerhouses, and to further enhance trust in Hugel as a company and its products. We will continue academic activities steadily in various regions beyond the Thai market, where we maintain the number one market share, to contribute to the development of the global aesthetic industry.”
