Expansion of Customized Smart Automation Devices and ECS Applied to the Logistics Industry
LS Electric has launched an initiative to target the domestic logistics automation market.
On the 30th, LS Electric signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on 'Smart Logistics Automation Business Cooperation' with Lotte Global Logistics at the LS Yongsan Tower.
At the signing ceremony, attended by Kim Byung-kyun, Head of Domestic Business Division at LS Electric Automation CIC (Executive Director), and Baek Seung-gi, Head of Logistics Technology Institute at Lotte Global Logistics (Executive Director), among other company officials, they discussed ways to strengthen logistics automation for Lotte Global Logistics based on LS Electric's smart automatic control technology.

Through this agreement, the two companies will actively collaborate across all areas related to smart logistics automation business, including ▲strengthening LS Electric's competitiveness in logistics automation business ▲enhancing Lotte Global Logistics' logistics equipment control technology competitiveness ▲cooperating on the development of logistics equipment control systems (ECS) ▲creating new business models.
LS Electric plans to support the smartization of logistics control based on its automation device control technology and smart factory construction and operation capabilities accumulated over more than 50 years in the industrial automation field.
Lotte Global Logistics will strengthen its own control technology and verify the effectiveness of the system by applying ECS developed jointly with LS Electric to logistics centers to be established and operating them directly.
Kim Byung-kyun, Head of Domestic Business Division at LS Electric Automation CIC, said, "This has become an opportunity to strengthen our business capabilities through the advancement of customized automation solutions and the development of new markets together with Lotte Global Logistics." He added, "Based on the automation technology accumulated in key industries such as semiconductors, batteries, and electric vehicles, we will target the smart logistics market and create tangible results."
