Start of 'Visiting Mobile Food Market' in Dong-gu, Gwangju

Dong-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, has launched the first operation of the community-based welfare service ‘Visiting Mobile Food Market’.

Starting from Hakun-dong on the 25th, the service will tour all 13 neighborhoods until July, visiting 300 households in need to deliver requested daily necessities and check on their well-being.

Im Taek, Mayor of Dong-gu, said, “We will strive further to contribute to the promotion of social welfare and the spread of community culture through a virtuous cycle of food and daily goods donations and support.”
