Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) announced on the 29th that it conducted an 'Integrated Urban Architecture Master Plan Design Competition' targeting six public housing districts in provincial areas on the 26th to revitalize the local economy and promote regional balanced development.
The integrated urban architecture plan refers to establishing a three-dimensional master plan encompassing urban, architectural, and facilities aspects from the planning stage, and based on this, formulating urban planning and architectural plans.
The competition targets six locations: Daejeon Jukdong 2, Daejeon Sangseo, Sejong Yeongi, Sejong Jochiwon, Ulsan Seonbawi, and Busan Daejeo, with a total design budget of 48.3 billion KRW. Winners for each district will be granted the right to perform survey and design services for the respective district.
Applicants must be registered in construction engineering business. They must meet all related qualification requirements in civil engineering, urban fields, architecture, and information and communication fields. Additionally, there must be no disqualifications for performing survey and design services according to the 'Act on Contracts to Which the State is a Party' and related laws.

Those wishing to apply must submit participation applications by the 2nd of next month for each district, and complete the production and submission of competition works by August 1st.
Winners for each district are scheduled to be announced at the end of August, and the submitted works will be disclosed through the LH website and other channels. LH expects that this competition will provide local residents with high-quality urban and residential environments reflecting the characteristics of each region.
