Promotion of 'K-Drama Filming Locations' and Tourist Attractions
From the 26th to the 29th, Pohang City participated in the '2023 Taipei International Travel Fair' for four days, operating the 'Pohang Promotion Hall' to enhance brand awareness of Pohang, a popular filming location for K-dramas, and to attract Taiwanese tourists.

This fair, hosted by the Taipei Travel Commercial Association, is a large-scale event with participation from 205 organizations across 12 countries, attracting the highest number of visitors among Taipei travel fairs.
At the Pohang Promotion Hall, major filming locations of popular Korean dramas such as 'When the Camellia Blooms' and 'Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha' were actively promoted, including ▲Cheongha Gongjin Market ▲Guryongpo Japanese House Street, along with Pohang’s representative attractions such as ▲Homigot, the sunrise spot where the sun rises first on the Korean Peninsula ▲Pohang Space Walk, awarded the Presidential Award at the Korea Spatial Culture Awards ▲and Pohang Railroad Forest, which won the Grand Prize at the Asia Urban Landscape Awards.
A Taipei citizen who visited the Pohang Promotion Hall said, “During the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, I plan to visit Pohang, famous as the filming location of the drama ‘Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha,’ with my family,” expressing anticipation.
An official from the city stated, “This was a great opportunity to showcase the charm of Pohang as a K-drama filming location and a marine cultural tourism city to local Taiwanese,” adding, “We will do our best to attract domestic and international tourists by developing Pohang’s diverse tourism infrastructure.”
