Strong Sales of Related Products like FitFlop and Barbour
Life culture company LF announced on the 29th that as early heat in May accelerated customers' summer preparations, the search volume for the keyword 'rain boots' on LF Mall (from May 1 to 23) increased 26 times compared to the same period last year and 6 times compared to the previous month.
Popular search terms consistently include summer shoe-related keywords such as 'rain boots' and 'FitFlop'. Customer interest is also translating into sales. FitFlop rain boots, imported and sold by LF, have received high customer response since the start of the spring/summer (S/S) season this year, and the rain boots newly launched domestically this season by Barbour have seen May sales surge more than threefold compared to the previous month.
Rain boots are released in various styles. FitFlop's representative rain boots, 'Wonder Welly', are sold in three types: 'Chelsea', which falls to the ankle line; 'Short', with a mid-length; and 'Clog', shaped like clogs. Barbour's rain boots are also composed of 'Wellington boots' in long and mid-length styles, and 'Wilton boots' with a Chelsea design.
In addition, the company explained that 'rubber shoes' made of lightweight EVA rubber material, which can be worn lightly instead of rain boots, and 'raincoats', considered essential during the rainy season, are also attracting attention.
To welcome the summer season, LF Mall is holding a 'FitFlop Brand Day' until June 5. More than 280 FitFlop products for men and women, including rain boots, kids' sandals, and the representative Gracie sandals and slides, will be sold at up to 23% discount, and a FitFlop beach bag giveaway event will also be held.
