Korea Racing Authority LetsRun Park Busan-Gyeongnam (Head Song Daeyoung) donated 10 million won to rescue and protect abandoned animals.
LetsRun Park Busan-Gyeongnam announced on the 29th that it delivered a donation for the welfare improvement of abandoned animals to the Busan Gangseo-gu Volunteer Center (Center Director Hwang Seokyoung) on the 26th.
This donation was made as part of the ECO PET campaign, which is working with the Busan Gangseo-gu Volunteer Center to improve the welfare of abandoned animals in the region and protect the natural ecosystem.

The Volunteer Center carries out volunteer activities targeting shelters for abandoned animals together with local volunteers. Every winter, they conduct a campaign to dress street trees in winter clothes to protect them from the cold.
A representative of the Volunteer Center said, “We are grateful to the many volunteers who are working hard to protect abandoned animals and nature in the region,” adding, “We will strive to make the community a more beautiful place through this donation.”
A Korea Racing Authority official said, “We will cooperate with the local community to share the value of animal welfare and fulfill our social responsibilities such as rescuing abandoned animals and protecting nature, reflecting customer demands.”
Korea Racing Authority employees have launched a volunteer club for the protection of abandoned animals. The volunteer group plans to regularly spend time emotionally bonding with animals healing from emotional wounds through activities such as cleaning kennels, feeding, and walking abandoned animals.
