[Today’s Weather] Rain Across the Country... Fine Dust Level 'Good'

On Sunday the 28th, the entire country will be cloudy with rain in various areas.

The morning low temperatures are forecasted to be between 16 and 20 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high temperatures between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius.

Rain that starts around 3 a.m. in northern Gyeonggi and northwestern Gangwon will expand to the Seoul metropolitan area, Gangwon, and Chungcheong regions by around 9 a.m., and further extend to the southern regions by noon. In the inland Yeongnam area, showers of 5 to 20 mm will fall due to increasing atmospheric instability. In areas experiencing rain, there may be gusts of wind accompanied by thunder and lightning.

Expected precipitation amounts are ▲100 mm or more in Chungcheong region, western inland Gyeongbuk, southern coastal Gyeongbuk, and Jeonbuk (28th to 30th) ▲30 to 80 mm in central regions (27th to 29th) ▲30 to 80 mm in southern regions and Jeju Island (28th to 30th) ▲20 to 60 mm in eastern coastal Gangwon, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo (27th to 29th) ▲20 to 60 mm in the five western islands (Seohae 5-do) (27th to 28th).

Expected minimum temperatures in major cities are ▲Seoul, Incheon, Busan, Chuncheon 18 degrees ▲Daejeon, Daegu, Gwangju, Jeju 19 degrees ▲Gangneung, Jeonju 20 degrees. Expected maximum daytime temperatures are ▲Jeju 26 degrees ▲Gwangju 25 degrees ▲Gangneung, Daegu, Jeonju 24 degrees ▲Daejeon 23 degrees ▲Seoul, Incheon, Busan, Chuncheon 21 degrees.

Fine dust levels will be 'Good' across all regions due to smooth atmospheric dispersion and the effects of precipitation.
