A fire broke out on a city bus stopped at a bus stop in Gwangju, prompting passengers to evacuate.
According to the Dongbu Fire Station in Gwangju on the 26th, around 8:47 a.m., a fire started in the engine room of a city bus stopped at the Namgwangju Station bus stop in Hak-dong, Dong-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City.
About 30 people, including the bus driver and passengers, evacuated, and there were no casualties.
The fire engulfed the entire bus but was extinguished within 9 minutes by firefighters who responded to the report.
The police and fire authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
