Emira and Elettra Scheduled for Release
Kolon Mobility Group announced on the 25th that it has signed a new partnership with the British sports car brand Lotus. The company will serve as the official importer of Lotus and will exclusively distribute the brand in South Korea.
Kolon Mobility Group plans to introduce two models: Lotus's final internal combustion lightweight sports car, the Emira, and the electric sports utility vehicle (SUV), the Eletre. The delivery timings are scheduled for the first and second halves of next year, respectively.

The domestic Lotus showroom is set to open at the end of September in the core imported car district of Gangnam. The Emira and Eletre models will be displayed, and pre-orders for the Emira will be accepted after the opening. The official service center is scheduled to open in the second half of the year in Ilsandong-gu, Goyang City. It will offer vehicle inspections, general repairs, and accident repairs.
Lotus is a sports car brand founded in 1952 by engineer Colin Chapman. It is characterized by its focus on driving performance through lightweight body construction rather than power output. Lotus has won 79 races in motorsports, and various sports cars from brands including Aston Martin have undergone Lotus engineering consultation during their development. It is considered one of the world's top three sports car manufacturers alongside Ferrari and Porsche.
A representative from Kolon Mobility Group said, “Through this partnership, we have secured core capabilities as an automotive specialized distributor, ranging from premium brands to luxury and high-end high-performance models,” adding, “We will spare no effort and support in various ways to provide customers with diverse mobility experiences in cooperation with Lotus, which is actively expanding its presence in the Korean market.”
