HJ Heavy Industries, which won the 'Green Smart' category at this year's Asia Economy Apartment Brand Awards, introduced its housing brand 'Haemoro' for the first time in Daegu last February.
The spotlight is on 'Dongdaegu Haemoro Square East,' a redevelopment project of Dongja 2 District near Sinam New Town in the Dongdaegu area. It consists of 15 buildings with a total of 935 households, ranging from 3 basement floors to 9-15 above-ground floors, forming a Haemoro brand town with over 2,000 households together with 'Dongdaegu Haemoro Square West' located across the main road.
Last March, the complex adopted the renewed 'Haemoro' design for the first time in 16 years. Haemoro is a compound word combining 'hae' (sun) and 'moro' (group), and through rebranding, the symbol mark and colors were changed. The symbol mark, reminiscent of sunlight shining diagonally, represents the value Haemoro wants to embody in homes: 'a sunlit home harmonizing nature and advanced technology.' As a premium brand, it plans to propose a healthy lifestyle.
HJ Heavy Industries has strived to satisfy the diverse needs of residents. Especially given the high interest in air quality due to fine dust and yellow dust, Haemoro introduced its own integrated fine dust management system within the complex called 'H-CATS.' It systematically purifies fine dust in six different spaces according to their characteristics, including common areas, landscaping, community facilities, and underground parking lots. Various smart clean systems for air purification, such as sensor-detection parking ventilation systems and fine dust traffic lights, are also equipped. An air purification function option was applied to the heat exchange units in all households.
HJ Heavy Industries plans to implement a simple and modern design reflecting customer needs, led by the new Haemoro identity. Aiming for a naturalistic apartment, it will also establish eco-friendly smart green systems tailored to each complex.
Meanwhile, in January, HJ Heavy Industries was recognized by the Ministry of Employment and Labor as a workplace without serious accidents for three consecutive years, demonstrating a flawless safety management system. This is a rare achievement for a large construction company. Hong Moon-gi, CEO of HJ Heavy Industries Construction Division, said, "As social interest in safety and quality related to apartment construction increases, we will introduce premium residential spaces that customers trust and are satisfied with, further strengthening the competitiveness of our brand."
