Yeoncheol Forging Hollow Structure Precision Forging Method
Soft Impact Feel Achieved with Overwhelming Distance
"Thrilling distance and satisfying feel."
These are the TM-X and AM-X irons (photo) released by Royal Collection. They feature a soft carbon steel forged hollow structure with an optimized face for improved contact and distance, precise forging techniques, and a CNC body structure. By increasing spin, the ball can be stopped on the green more quickly and accurately. A polymer injection inside the hollow head structure provides a soft impact feel.
The TM-X is designed for advanced players. It is equipped with a high-rebound MS300 plate press forged face. The head size is preferred by low-handicap golfers. It is compact but offers a certain level of forgiveness. The low-center cavity back design suppresses head twisting on mishits.
The AM-X is for intermediate players. From 5 to 9 irons, it features an ultra-thin L-press forged face, while the three wedges have a plate press face structure. Each club’s characteristics and performance are considered by number. It uses a high-bounce design method at the center of the sole. The low center of gravity and high-rebound face allow the ball to fly strongly. Stainless steel weight screws are installed at the toe to achieve a low center of gravity and high launch angle.
CEO Choi Kwang-sik explained, "We have introduced two hybrid irons that offer the distance and soft impact feel preferred by golfers," adding, "We confidently recommend them to golfers who want to upgrade their iron shots to the next level."
