[Featured Stock] Sambutogeon Joins Ukraine Reconstruction for 'Myeonggajaegun'... Largest Restoration Project Since World War II

The stock price of DYD affiliate Sambutogen continues to rise. It appears to have been influenced by consecutive agreements related to the reconstruction of Ukraine.

As of 1:58 PM on the 24th, Sambutogen is trading at 2,390 KRW, up 22.94% from the previous day.

DYD announced on the 24th that its affiliate Sambutogen signed a memorandum of understanding related to reconstruction projects with Mariupol city, a strategic point in Ukraine, and the Polish construction company ‘F1 Family Holding LLC’.

According to this agreement held in Warsaw, Poland, Sambutogen's restoration projects are expected to accelerate further. Mariupol is the largest damage area in Ukraine, covering an area of 244 km² with an estimated pre-war population of 430,000. It is considered one of Ukraine's top ten cities and is currently the largest occupied territory by Russia.

F1 Family Holding LLC, headquartered in Poland, is currently conducting restoration projects in the Bucha region of Ukraine.

The Ukraine reconstruction project mainly involves restoring buildings and facilities destroyed by Russian military attacks since last year, with a project scale reaching up to 1,200 trillion KRW. This is regarded as the "largest scale since World War II."

A company official said, "We expect to expand the scale of reconstruction projects starting with these agreements," adding, "We will widely promote the company's name and competitiveness in the global market."

Sambutogen also signed a comprehensive memorandum of understanding related to reconstruction projects with Konotop city, one of the damaged cities in Ukraine.

Established in 1948 with the first construction license in Korea, Sambutogen is a mid-sized construction company that has grown mainly through major civil engineering projects. It was responsible for the construction of the Gyeongin and Gyeongbu Expressways and Seoul Subway Line 1. The company focuses on domestic contracting and self-construction sales projects and has recently been recognized for its competitiveness by consecutively winning new logistics center construction contracts.
