Invited by Pastor Kim Seung-gyu of Changwon Keunnamu Church, the visiting teachers showed great interest as they attentively listened to explanations about classrooms and learning environments during the meeting with Nam High School teachers.
The teachers inquired in detail about the Korean elementary, middle, and high school curricula and asked many questions regarding youth psychological counseling.
They particularly asked thoroughly about the reasons behind the gender-segregated system in Korean high schools and showed interest in the processes related to school violence and student character education.
Nagahof Christian School is located in Naga City, south of Manila, Philippines. It was established 65 years ago by Chinese missionaries and has maintained a long-standing tradition.
Recently, domestic churches and missionaries have expanded their involvement in the school to include Korean language education and Korean culture classes. The school received the highest level of official accreditation in the Philippines long ago and is expanding its regional presence with the catchphrase of education that brings social change through the Christian gospel and provides vision to youth.
On this day, after visiting the school, the Nagahof School teachers visited GMB and toured the electric vehicle parts production line.
