Chabio Group Participates in BIO USA... Matica, Chabiotech, and Chavaccine Deployed

CHA Bio Group announced on the 24th that it will participate in the '2023 BIO International Convention (BIO USA),' the world's largest bio exhibition, held in Boston, USA, from the 5th to the 8th of next month. Among CHA Bio Group affiliates, ▲Matica Biotechnology ▲CHA Biotech ▲CHA Vaccine Institute will participate in this BIO USA to seek opportunities for global business expansion.

Matica Biotechnology, CHA Biotech's US subsidiary, plans to showcase its competitiveness in third-generation cell and gene therapy (CGT) contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO). They will set up an exhibition booth to actively promote Matica Biotechnology's technological capabilities and engage in order acquisition activities by meeting with current and potential clients during the event. A 3D virtual tour has also been prepared to allow customers to explore the CGT CDMO facility and processes established last May in College Station, Texas. They are currently constructing a second plant capable of producing commercial-stage pharmaceuticals, expanding their business scope to include the development and production of viral vector processes, which are key raw materials for CGT, as well as the production of various cell therapies.

CHA Biotech plans to actively communicate the development status of cell therapies currently under development and discuss technology transfers and joint development. In particular, to maximize the therapeutic characteristics and effects of natural killer (NK) cell therapies, they are considering the introduction of chimeric antigen receptors (CAR) and plan to discuss technology transfer and joint development accordingly.

CHA Vaccine Institute will deliver a corporate presentation. CEO Yeom Jeong-seon is scheduled to present on the afternoon of the 5th (local time) next month, introducing their independently developed immune adjuvant platform and clinical pipeline. Through this corporate presentation, they aim to introduce their technology development status from the podium, communicate with numerous global companies, and create opportunities for technology transfer.
