Daegu Bank Scholarship and Culture Foundation Awards 190 Million KRW in Scholarships to 152 University Students

The Daegu Bank Scholarship and Cultural Foundation (Chairman Hwang Byung-woo) held a scholarship award ceremony for university (graduate) students at the DGB Daegu Bank headquarters in 2023.

The scholarship award ceremony, held on the afternoon of the 23rd, was attended by 21 students representing universities (graduate schools) from various regions, and a total of 190 million KRW in scholarships was awarded to 152 university (graduate) students.

Some university students who received scholarships from the Daegu Bank Scholarship and Culture Foundation and Chairman Hwang Byung-woo (center in the photo) are gathered together for a commemorative photo.

Since its establishment in 1990, the Daegu Bank Scholarship and Cultural Foundation has continuously supported students with scholarships and promoted cultural and educational projects. To date, it has provided scholarships totaling approximately 9.5 billion KRW to about 6,600 students.

Chairman Hwang Byung-woo expressed his hope that “the scholarship support will help nurture talented individuals who will lead the future of the region, and the Daegu Bank Scholarship and Cultural Foundation will take the lead in fostering and discovering future talents through various projects.”
