The National Pension Service announced on the 24th that it will conduct the 'Visiting 4 Major Social Insurance Education' for small and medium-sized business owners in eight regions, starting from Suncheon-si, Jeollanam-do, to Gimhae-si, Gyeongsangnam-do on the 29th of next month.
The main content covers how to report, apply, and manage qualifications for social insurance using the 4 Major Social Insurance portal site. The sessions will be held from 1 PM to 6 PM in each region.
The Service has been operating the 'Visiting 4 Major Social Insurance Education' annually since 2013 to help small and medium-sized business owners easily and conveniently report and apply for social insurance-related matters. This education will be held face-to-face for the first time in four years due to COVID-19.
Meanwhile, the Service has been jointly operating the '4 Major Social Insurance Information Linkage Center' with social insurance executing agencies since 2003. Through this, by reporting to only one of the 4 major social insurance institutions, all institutions can process the report via a 'one-stop civil complaint report,' and it provides services such as linkage and joint use of 102 types of data held by 11 administrative agencies including the National Tax Service, as well as issuance of integrated certificates for the 4 major social insurances.
Director Kim Tae-hyun said, "We hope this education will help small-scale businesses understand the social insurance system and report easily," adding, "The Service will continue to actively support small and medium-sized business owners through various educational programs."
