Uljin-gun Multicultural Families' Spring Family Trip: A Visit to Busan

Uljin-gun, Gyeongbuk Province (Governor Son Byeong-bok) conducted a "Spring Family Trip" family camp for 20 multicultural families over one night and two days from May 20 to 21.

Uljin-gun Multicultural Families' Spring Family Trip: A Visit to Busan A multicultural family from Uljin-gun took a trip to Busan for a family outing in spring.

As part of the life-stage integrated support model project for multicultural families, programs are divided into couple education during family formation, child-rearing and education, and family camps. This family camp allowed multicultural families, who had not often experienced family trips, to relieve accumulated tension and stress through visits to Busan Lotte World and KidZania experiences. In particular, elementary school students were able to experience a sense of achievement by exploring various occupations and discovering their aptitudes.

Additionally, the Uljin-gun Family Center plans to hold another family camp in the second half of the year, which will include programs to learn about Korea's traditional culture and history.

Lee Jang-chul, head of the Uljin-gun Family Center, said, "I hope this outing helped relieve stress from work and parenting and created good memories for all families," adding, "The Uljin-gun Family Center will continue to plan and operate various programs that families can enjoy together."
