LabGenomics is showing strong performance. The news that drug tests will be added to the military enlistment physical examination to eradicate drug crimes within military barracks is believed to be influencing LabGenomics, which offers drug confirmation testing services.

On this day, the Ministry of National Defense announced through the 'Military Drug Management Improvement Plan' that drug tests will be added to physical examinations conducted for enlisted soldiers and active-duty personnel. Drug testing, which was previously conducted only for those with a history of drug use, will be expanded to all physical examination subjects.

For active-duty personnel, drug tests will be added to urine test items during health checkups. For officers, drug tests will be conducted on all prospective officers and long-term service applicants, starting as early as the second half of the year.

LabGenomics provides drug confirmation testing services through its partner medical institution, LabGenomics Diagnostic Laboratory Clinic. The confirmation tests for opioids and cannabis detect substances such as amphetamine (AMP), methamphetamine (METH), and morphine (MOR) in urine samples to diagnose drug confirmation status.
