Ildong Foodis announced on the 23rd that it will launch the 'Highmun Protein Balance Pro Active (Pro Active)' pouch, which enhances taste, digestion, and portability for athletes who need protein supplementation.
The Pro Active pouch is composed of whey protein isolate extracted directly from fresh milk, goat milk protein for digestion, filtered whey protein isolate that removes lactose and fat, and nine essential amino acids. It contains 28g of protein, equivalent to 4 to 5 eggs, which is 233% of the daily protein intake standard for health functional foods set by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety. Additionally, it includes 'Octacosanol,' a functional ingredient recognized by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety that can help improve endurance by increasing glycogen storage, the body's energy source.
The product is to be consumed by mixing one pouch per day with water or milk. The company explained that it uses Dutch cocoa powder for a chocolate flavor that can be enjoyed without burden.
