Ten Promising Local Companies in Cosmetics and Household Goods to Hold Export Consultation Meetings in LA on the 16th and Chicago on the 18th
Anna Cosmetic, Producer of Cosmetics (Gold Serum), Signs Four Letters of Intent with Local Buyers
Gangnam-gu (District Mayor Jo Seong-myeong), in collaboration with the Korea International Trade Association, dispatched a trade promotion delegation to the United States from the 14th to the 23rd, achieving contract consultation results worth $4.12 million (approximately 5.4 billion KRW).
The trade promotion delegation, led by Gangnam-gu Mayor Jo Seong-myeong, consisted of representatives and officials from 10 companies based in Gangnam-gu.
Promising companies in the cosmetics and household goods sectors such as ▲Genie the Bottle ▲HP&C ▲Coterang ▲Anna Cosmetic ▲Namin International ▲Platinum Bridge ▲Lion Beauty ▲BT Lab ▲Green Whale Global ▲Tigom participated together.
Before the main buyer consultations, the delegation visited the LA Korean Chamber of Commerce and the local marketing firm ‘Link One.’ There, they received insights from local experts on U.S. market trends and product-specific entry strategies, addressing questions about entering the U.S., the largest export market.
Subsequently, export consultation meetings were held in LA on the 16th and Chicago on the 18th. Through active company promotion and consultations with local buyers, nine MOUs (Letters of Intent) were signed, resulting in contract consultation achievements worth approximately $4.12 million.
In particular, Anna Cosmetic, which produces high-functional skin regeneration cosmetics (Gold Serum) containing EGF ingredients, signed four letters of intent with local buyers and received sample orders on-site, laying the foundation for future contract achievements.
Mayor Jo Seong-myeong visited the local TARP (Tunnel and Reservoir Plan) facility in Chicago to benchmark disaster safety systems in preparation for heavy rainfall. He toured underground storage tunnels and reservoirs designed to prevent flood damage and improve water quality.
Mayor Jo Seong-myeong stated, “The dispatch of the trade promotion delegation has laid the groundwork for participating companies to enter the U.S. market,” adding, “We will continue to provide various support such as dispatching trade promotion delegations and investment attraction assistance to help companies expand into overseas markets.”
