Mokpo Credit Union Signs Main Sponsor Agreement with Mokpo International Football Center to Promote Sports 활성화

2 Billion KRW Sponsorship Support Over 5 Years and 6 Months

The Mokpo International Football Center Foundation (Chairman Park Hong-ryul) and Mokpo Credit Union (Chairman Jo Seong-cheol) signed a sponsorship agreement on the 22nd at the Mokpo City Hall Situation Room to promote regional social development and sports revitalization.

According to the city on the 22nd, this agreement was made as the Mokpo International Football Center proposed main sponsorship participation to Mokpo Credit Union, a regional financial institution that has shown rapid growth and achieved a remarkable asset size of 400 billion KRW, ahead of the nationwide (disabled) sports festival scheduled for the second half of this year, and the credit union responded positively to contribute to the development of local sports.


Going forward, Mokpo Credit Union will act as the main sponsor for 5 years and 6 months during the agreement period, and the Mokpo International Football Center will receive sponsorship funds of 200 million KRW during this period.


Mokpo Credit Union’s brand will be exposed in various media and events of the Mokpo International Football Center, and the artificial turf B field will be named Mokpo Credit Union Field.


Park Hong-ryul, Chairman of the Mokpo International Football Center, said, “Through this agreement, we will cooperate to create positive effects in the local community and become a model case for revitalizing the sports economy,” and added, “We will actively promote Mokpo Credit Union through various media such as tournaments, education, training, and attracting training camps.”


Jo Seong-cheol, Chairman of Mokpo Credit Union, stated, “We chose to be the main sponsor of the Mokpo International Football Center as a way to help the local community,” and said, “We will provide generous support for vulnerable groups in the jurisdiction and the development of the local community.”
