Hit by K2 Rifle Bullet During Shooting Training
A soldier in his 20s died in a shooting accident at an army unit in Yangju, Gyeonggi Province.
According to the Army on the 22nd, around 12:12 PM that day, Private A, a soldier in his 20s belonging to the 8th Division of the Army in Yangju, was hit by a bullet from a K2 rifle during shooting training.
Private A was transported to a nearby hospital by paramedics who responded to the report while he was in cardiac arrest, but he passed away.
The Army stated, "We will do our best to support the bereaved family and thoroughly investigate the cause of the accident."
