Naju City, Jeollanam-do (Mayor Yoon Byung-tae) announced on the 22nd that it will hold the "16th Relocated Public Institutions Club Concert" at the Bitgaram Lake Park Outdoor Performance Hall from 6 PM to 9 PM on the 25th.
The club concert has been held 3 to 4 times a year since 2016 as part of a win-win project between relocated public institutions in the Innovation City and the local community.
It was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic starting in 2020 but was held last year in conjunction with the Bitgaram Festival event. With the easing of quarantine measures, it will be held as a standalone event for the first time in four years.
The concert stage will feature five music band clubs from relocated public institutions in the Innovation City, a regional federation Zumba team, and a dance team from Dongshin University, each performing 3 to 6 songs, showcasing abundant enthusiasm and talent.
The performing teams (public institutions) are Harvest (Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation), Banchanggo (KEPCO KDN), Harmony Band (Korea Electric Power Corporation), Harmony (National Radio Research Agency), Wolsu Band (Korea Electric Power Corporation), Bitgaram Zumba (Regional Federation), and TEMPO (Dongshin University), in that order.
In addition to the performances, various experience booths such as soap making, laser balloon popping, art tumblers, and a flea market booth will be operated around the event site to add more enjoyment.
The city plans to install subtle night lighting not only on the stage but also around the audience seats, providing an opportunity to recharge early summer emotions with the cool breeze.
Mayor Yoon Byung-tae said, "I hope that everyone will enjoy the romantic and lively stage full of enthusiasm from the relocated public institutions, local residents, and university club teams who have honed their skills in their spare time after work, adding vitality to daily life." He added, "We will continue to activate cooperative projects for harmony and coexistence through communication among relocated public institutions, local governments, and the local community."
