GemVax Sponsors Talk Concert for Dementia Patients and Their Families

GemVax & Kael announced on the 22nd that it will sponsor the "Memory Plus Talk & Concert," hosted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and organized by the Seoul Metropolitan Dementia Center.

The upcoming Memory Plus Talk & Concert will be held on the 25th at the Grand Performance Hall of the Millennium Hall, Konkuk University Seoul Campus, in the afternoon. Approximately 800 attendees, including dementia patients and their families registered at dementia safety centers in 25 autonomous districts of Seoul, as well as related workers, will participate.

This event was planned to provide a healing time that offers new strength through comforting the weary hearts of dementia patients, their families, and related workers, and adding joy to their daily lives in celebration of Family Month. Starting with a performance by the Guro-gu Dementia Family Choir, which includes dementia patients and their families, the event will offer about two hours of healing time through trot, a cappella performances, and lectures.

Lee Dong-young, Director of the Seoul Metropolitan Dementia Center (Professor of Psychiatry at Seoul National University Hospital), said, "Having time to add new joy to daily life is essential for everyone," and added, "I hope this event will gift dementia patients, their families, and our workers a moment to laugh heartily and enjoy themselves comfortably." A GemVax representative stated, "We are pleased to provide a healing time for dementia patients, their families, and related workers who have been struggling and exhausted for a long time," and added, "Starting with this sponsorship, we will continue to consider various sustainable support measures."

Meanwhile, prior to the talk & concert on the same day, the first part of the event will include a commemorative ceremony for the "One Heart Dementia Overcoming Seoul City Walking Event" challenge. Participants in the walking event, which was conducted using a mobile application from the 20th of last month to the 10th of this month, will be awarded prizes selected by each of the 25 autonomous districts.
