The Women's and Youth Division of the Gwangju Dongbu Police Station held a 'Youth Participation Policy Advisory Group' forum.
On the 20th, Dongbu Police Station held an event for the 'Youth Policy Advisory Group (19 members)' at the small conference room in the police station building, proposing various policies including school violence prevention.
After having a free discussion reviewing the policy proposals submitted by the members, they conducted joint patrols in nearby crime-prone areas and carried out a youth drug prevention campaign.
A police official stated, "We hope that the diverse opinions of the Youth Participation Policy Advisory Group will be reflected in public safety policies to proactively address issues such as school violence and youth delinquency."
