Ulsan Autonomous Police Committee Publishes AI 'Foreigner Masterbook'
Produced in Three Languages: English, Chinese, Vietnamese
Crime Prevention Topics from Domestic Violence to Child Abuse
ChatGPT has appeared in crime prevention activities for foreigners in Ulsan.
The Ulsan Autonomous Police Committee announced on the 22nd that it has published a 'Crime Prevention Masterbook' for foreigners using artificial intelligence.
This masterbook is based on the crime prevention masterbook produced by the Autonomous Police Committee in 2022, translated into three languages?English, Chinese, and Vietnamese?using the AI ChatGPT model, and completed through primary review by the Ulsan Foreign Resident Support Center and secondary review by the Foreign Affairs Division of the Ulsan Police Agency, in cooperation with related organizations.
The foreign languages were selected based on the proportion of foreigners residing in Ulsan as of 2022: Chinese (31%), Vietnamese (20%), and English, resulting in a total of three languages.
It covers four major topics: domestic violence, sexual violence, school violence, and child abuse, providing for each topic ▲concept explanation ▲types of crimes ▲response procedures ▲information on support organizations.
The crime prevention masterbook is produced in e-book format, allowing access anytime and anywhere through the Ulsan Autonomous Police Committee website. It can also be downloaded via a QR code, making it easy and convenient for foreigners to use.
The Ulsan Autonomous Police Committee plans to operate 'Crime Prevention Classes' for foreigners using the masterbook through the Foreign Affairs Division of the Ulsan Police Agency and to promote the masterbook to foreigners visiting the Foreign Resident Support Center.
