Lexus Launches Pre-Orders for Electric Vehicle and Completely Redesigned RX Model

Lexus Korea announced that it will officially launch its first-ever electric vehicle dedicated model, the RZ, and the 5th generation RX model on the 21st of next month, with pre-orders starting from the 22nd.

The RZ 450e is the first Lexus model to apply the electric vehicle dedicated platform e-TNGA. Its exterior is aerodynamically designed. The interior is configured to minimize driver eye movement, allowing full concentration on driving. It features a 14-inch touch display, panoramic glass roof, and radiant heater. It is an all-wheel-drive system equipped with a 71.4 kWh lithium-ion battery.

The RX 400h was the first model in Korea to be equipped with a hybrid powertrain in 2006. It has been completely redesigned after 7 years and is released as the 5th generation. It offers three powertrains: the hybrid model RX 350h, the plug-in hybrid (PHEV) RX 450h+, and the 2.4ℓ turbo engine hybrid model RX 500h F Sport Performance.
