President Yoon will move to the Yongsan Presidential Office to hold the Korea-Germany summit. Chancellor Scholz, like President Yoon, traveled to Korea after completing the G7 summit schedule in Japan.

After arriving in Korea, Chancellor Scholz will first visit the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ). Afterwards, he will have a one-on-one and expanded meeting with President Yoon, followed by a dinner with their spouses. This is the first time in 13 years that a German chancellor has visited Korea since former Chancellor Angela Merkel came for the G20 summit in 2010.
