Suspect Threatening 'Iltagangsa' with a Weapon in Gangnam... Flees and Attempts Suicide

An incident occurred in which a private education instructor, famous as a 'one-shot instructor' who also appears on entertainment programs, was threatened with a weapon in Gangnam. The suspect fled and then took an extreme measure.

According to the Suseo Police Station in Seoul on the 20th, at around 10:30 PM the previous day, a famous private education instructor A, known as a 'one-shot instructor,' was threatened with a weapon on a roadside in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. As A was getting into her husband's car, suspect B opened the rear door and entered the vehicle. B threatened A and her husband with a weapon, but fled when A's husband resisted. It was reported that neither A nor her husband was injured.

The police immediately checked nearby closed-circuit television (CCTV) to identify the suspect and launched an investigation, but B was found dead several hours later in the southern Gyeonggi area. The police concluded that B had taken an extreme measure and decided to close the case with 'no prosecution.'
