Nanu Network Launches Rental Service for Electric Delivery Motorcycles

Nanu Network Launches Rental Service for Electric Delivery Motorcycles

Aims, a company specializing in electric motorcycle battery swap station infrastructure, announced on the 19th that it has launched an electric motorcycle rental product aimed at carbon-zero advancement of eco-friendly two-wheelers in the delivery market.

Starting in Busan and expanding to regions such as Mokpo, Gwangju, Daegu, and Seosan, Nanu Network's electric two-wheeler solutions have been established and are operating in the delivery market. Delivery riders highlight the economic benefits through cost reduction, leading to a shift from internal combustion engine motorcycles to electric motorcycles for delivery purposes.

Last year, Nanu Network introduced the compact 50cc class Leo-D model as a rental product, and this year, it has raised market interest by introducing 125cc class electric two-wheelers such as KR Motors' Illusion and Daedong Mobility's GS-100.

An Aims representative stated, “When compact electric scooters were first introduced to the delivery market, many delivery riders experienced significant savings in essential maintenance costs, which helped the product integrate well into the delivery market. Especially this year, by launching the 125cc class domestic brands KR Motors Illusion and Daedong Mobility GS-100, we are gaining momentum in the transition from internal combustion engine motorcycles to electric motorcycles. We welcome many inquiries from stakeholders interested in adopting electric motorcycles.”

This year, Nanu Network has confirmed the installation of over 250 battery swap stations in Seoul, Daegu, Busan, and Changwon through its zero-emission transition brand project, which encourages active adoption of electric two-wheelers, with plans for additional installations underway.
