On this day, the executives and staff of the Gyeonggi Research Institute held an integrity campaign pledge ceremony, promising to ▲ comply with laws and principles ▲ exclude improper external interference ▲ prohibit acceptance of money and entertainment ▲ encourage internal whistleblowing ▲ comply with conflict of interest prevention laws. They also pledged to familiarize themselves with research ethics rules and to avoid any violations of research ethics.
During the subsequent anti-corruption and integrity education session, Park Jong-seong, a specialist lecturer on integrity from the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, gave a lecture titled 'Integrity, Asking the Way,' educating attendees on the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act and the frugal activities and thoughts of Joseon-era Cheongbaekri, providing a moment to reflect on the integrity philosophy of these historical figures.
