Gang Jong-mun, Cooperative Head, "I Will Join the Donation Program to Revitalize Rural Areas and Boost the Local Economy"
On the 16th, Damyang County in Jeollanam-do announced on the 18th that it held a hometown love donation system participation support ceremony with Damyang Livestock Cooperative (Chairman Kang Jong-moon).
At the support ceremony, discussions were held on promotional measures to spread the donation culture, and Damyang Livestock Cooperative promised active participation to revitalize the hometown love donation system.
Damyang Livestock Cooperative plans to seek practical cooperation measures, such as employee donations and mutual donations with Jangheung Livestock Cooperative.
The event was attended by Lee Byung-no, Mayor of Damyang County, Kang Jong-moon, Chairman of Damyang Livestock Cooperative, Jang Il-young, Executive Director, and Lee Kyung-moo, Executive Director.
Chairman Kang Jong-moon said, “We will continue to actively cooperate with the hometown love donation system, which helps both Damyang County and local producers.”
Meanwhile, Damyang County is publicly recruiting ideas for fund projects to be carried out with hometown love donations, and the application period has been extended until the 31st.
