AI-based sports startup Moais announced on the 18th that it has been selected as a 'First Penguin' company under the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund (KODIT)'s innovative startup guarantee support program.
The term First Penguin refers to the penguin that first jumps into the sea among the group. It selects companies with innovative services and technologies that secure competitiveness, pioneer overseas markets, and have high growth potential. It is KODIT's representative startup support program that provides close support and nurturing for the selected companies.
KODIT highly evaluated Moais' sports education and training technology utilizing AI technology and data. Moais offers accurate swing diagnosis and various useful features for golfers through its golf diagnostic AI service called 'GolfFix'.
Moais CEO Lee Yong-geun said, "Through the selection as a First Penguin company, we will further advance and develop Moais' technology and services," adding, "this year, GolfFix will be available not only in Korea but also in the United States and the United Kingdom." He continued, "We will strive to provide a service loved by golfers worldwide."
