Shin Ki-young, CEO of Designoble, Conducts Seminar for Global Fashion Industry

Designoble announced that CEO Shin Ki-young conducted a seminar on how to use artificial intelligence (AI) technology in design and manufacturing at the "Digital Workflow" webinar hosted by the International Textile Manufacturers Federation (ITMF), a leading global private organization representing the textile fashion industry, on the 16th (local time).

Earlier, in September 2022 at the 2022 ITMF Annual Meeting held in Davos, Switzerland, CEO Shin delivered a speech titled "What to Make and What to Sell?" He proposed a methodology of predictive production and price adjustment using AI to the fashion industry, which is struggling to clear inventory due to oversupply. This webinar was held following continuous requests from the fashion industry after CEO Shin's lecture.

Designoble utilizes generative AI technology to analyze data and provide companies with insights to predict the market. This leads to efficient production and shortened product production periods, reducing inventory burdens caused by overproduction and ultimately preventing resource waste.

The webinar attracted textile and fashion industry stakeholders from around the world, and a Q&A session lasting over 30 minutes followed CEO Shin's presentation. Participants asked questions about differences in data collection methods and AI utilization depending on region or industry. There was also significant interest in AI implementation costs and post-implementation outcomes.

Depending on the partner with whom you collaborate and design, you can jointly design the sources of data suitable for different regions and customers and expand functionalities."
