On the 16th, Go stated on her social media (SNS), "President Yoon, who exercised his veto power despite public opposition and breaking his own campaign promise, should apologize to the people first." The Nursing Act was also one of President Yoon's campaign promises.

Go said, "He cited conflicts between professional groups and public health concerns as reasons, exercising his second veto after the Grain Management Act," adding, "The People Power Party and President Yoon, who ignore the National Assembly's legislative authority and break their promise to enact the Nursing Act made to the people, are aggravating professional conflicts and increasing public health anxiety."

She continued, "The Nursing Act, which aims to clarify the scope of nurses' duties and improve their treatment so that the public can receive better medical services, is being enacted in over 90 countries worldwide," and added, "More than half of the public opposes the president's veto of the Nursing Act."
