The Best-Selling Sports Car Over the Past 10 Years... What Is It?

The Ford Mustang has been revealed as the best-selling sports car in the world over the past decade, according to S&P Global Mobility registration data.

Among these, it sells the most in the U.S. market, accounting for 78% of total Mustang sales. Markets where sales increased last year include Germany (17%), the United Kingdom (14.4%), Switzerland (14.9%), and the Middle East (7.4%).

This year, the Mustang will be completely redesigned. It will be launched with two powertrains: a 2.3ℓ EcoBoost and a 5.0ℓ Coyote V8 for the Mustang GT. It is scheduled to be sold in over 100 markets worldwide, with sales starting this summer in North America. It is expected to be released domestically in the second half of the year.
