Research Alum analyzed on the 16th that FNS Tech is expected to secure production line orders for Samsung Display.

FNS Tech is a specialized manufacturer of display equipment and semiconductor components established in 2002. Its largest client is Samsung Display.

Researcher Kim Jaemu of Research Alum explained, "Equipment sales are highly volatile due to the investment cycle of Samsung Display," adding, "To achieve stable sales, the company is expanding into the component and materials business to improve the sales structure that has been concentrated on display equipment."

He continued, "Samsung Display is expected to place orders with domestic equipment companies starting with the deposition equipment from Japan's Canon Tokki, which is a core part of the OLED panel production process," and added, "The deposition equipment must be brought in by the first half of next year to establish process conditions and secure yield by 2025."

Furthermore, he analyzed, "The schedule allows for the release of an OLED MacBook in 2026," and noted, "If Apple delays the mass production timing of the OLED MacBook from 2026 to 2027, deposition equipment orders can be placed within this year, and there is also a possibility of a delay in FNS Tech's equipment orders."

It is estimated to achieve sales of 63.1 billion KRW and an operating profit of 6.2 billion KRW this year. Sales are expected to decrease by 6.7% compared to last year, while operating profit is expected to increase by 5.8%.
