The usage locations for the Gyeonggi-ddokD resident card, a customized administrative service app utilizing public MyData, will be expanded from the existing 83 places to a total of 596 places with the addition of 513 public parking lots.

Gyeonggi-ddokD provides ▲'Customized Benefit Information Service' such as welfare information and open recruitment information for residents ▲'Resident Card Service,' a personal identification service based on public MyData ▲'Electronic Wallet Service,' which allows users to store and use various electronic certificates on their phones ▲'My Report Service,' which offers residents' MyData information in a report format useful for daily life.

The Gyeonggi-ddokD resident card can be issued immediately after installing the Gyeonggi-ddokD app from Google Play Store or Apple App Store, completing identity verification, and agreeing to the card issuance procedure. All processes can be completed within 5 minutes, significantly reducing cases where discounts are missed despite eligibility and inconveniences for users who need to carry supporting documents, according to the provincial government.

With the expansion of resident card usage locations, presenting the Gyeonggi-ddokD app's resident card at the relevant public facilities and public parking lots without separate documents will allow verification of residence city/county, age, multi-child family status, disability, or merit status, enabling eligible discounts.

Details on usage locations and discount information by type can be found in the resident card usage guide within the Gyeonggi-ddokD app.

The newly added public facilities include 513 public parking lots such as affiliated parking lots and on-street parking lots in 16 cities and counties including Suwon, Yongin, and Seongnam.

The previously registered 83 cultural facilities and tourist sites, such as Hwaseong Haenggung, Gyeonggi Ceramic Museum, and Gaetgol Camping Site, remain available for use.

Meanwhile, Gyeonggi Province plans to continuously expand convenient verification services for residents, including simple certification for diligent and meritorious taxpayers in Gyeonggi Province, citizen cards through cooperation with cities and counties, issuance and expanded usage of multi-child cards, and more.
