‘Capiz,’ a blockchain-based document management service, has successfully secured investment as an SI partner from the sales agency corporation ‘Smart One C&D.’ Sales contracts, which hold values and rights ranging from tens of millions to hundreds of millions of Korean won, are 100% physical documents in paper form. This service aims to significantly reduce user risks arising from the loss of these contracts and to streamline the contract document management and overall related business processes of sales agencies, which have remained unchanged for decades.
Additionally, Kim Kyung-jun, CEO of ‘Smart One C&D,’ stated that he made the investment because he judged the service to be useful and highly promising, serving both as a solution to reduce concerns about the loss and damage of contracts by signatories and as a means to improve internal work efficiency in document and customer management.
With this, ‘Capiz’ has secured a visible revenue model and plans to distribute the developed product in a SaaS form suitable for the market, aiming to achieve monthly subscription revenue from corporate clients and reach the break-even point within 2024. Despite the frozen venture capital investment market atmosphere, the company is rapidly establishing and executing a viable survival strategy.
‘Capiz’ is a blockchain-based document management service launched last September targeting individuals and small business owners.
