Kumho HT "Warrant Trading Suspension and Delisting Are Unrelated to Common Stock"

Kumho HT explained that the suspension of trading and delisting of the warrant securities market due to the expiration of the exercise period of the warrants are unrelated to the common stocks listed on the KOSPI market.

The automotive parts company Kumho HT stated that the suspension of trading and delisting of the warrants, as announced by the Korea Exchange KOSPI Market Division on the 12th regarding ‘Kumho HT 1WR (warrant securities) exercise period expiration and delisting notice,’ is not related to the company’s delisting.

This announcement refers to the first series of bonds with warrants issued by the company on July 12, 2018, which will mature on July 12, and the suspension of trading in the Kumho HT 1WR warrants listed on the warrant securities market due to the expiration of the exercise period.

A company representative explained, “This announcement is unrelated to the currently traded common stocks but may cause misunderstandings such as suspension of trading or delisting of common stocks. It only applies to Kumho HT 1WR listed on the warrant securities market and has no relation to the listing status of common stocks on the KOSPI market.”

The relevant warrants are scheduled to have their trading suspended from June 9 and be delisted on June 13.

Meanwhile, Kumho HT is pursuing business diversification into battery parts and other areas based on the technology and know-how of its existing electronic components business.
