Lee Seung-hyun debuted on the KLPGA Tour in 2010 and maintained her regular tour card for 12 years until 2021. She achieved a total of seven wins, including two major championships. Although she was able to extend her existing tour card due to pregnancy in 2021 and childbirth in 2022, she decided to retire after last season to prepare for her second life.
In 2017, Lee Seung-hyun won the major Hite Jinro Championship by the largest margin of nine strokes, and in 2018, she set a remarkable record as the fifth player ever to win the S-OIL Championship ‘bogey-free.’ She consistently ranked within the top five in average putting, earning her the nickname ‘The God of Putting.’ She also demonstrated positive influence through various charitable activities, including joining the ‘Honor Society’ by donating over 100 million KRW to the Community Chest of Korea.
Lee Seung-hyun said, "I am very grateful for preparing such a meaningful retirement ceremony," and added, "Having received so much support and great love during my career, I want to work hard to give back to the juniors." Since June last year, Lee has opened the ‘Lee Seung-hyun Golf Studio’ in Yangjae-dong, Seoul, where she teaches putting techniques. Kim Su-ji and Hong Ji-won are among Lee Seung-hyun’s ‘favorite disciples.’
