Lambda256, ITIZ, Delio, and Others Join Business Agreement
Building Token Securities Platform Based on 'Token Securities Guidelines'
Four Companies Collaborate to Develop Token Securities Issuance and Distribution Solutions
On the 15th, Eugene Investment & Securities, Lambda256, ITIYZ, and Delio announced that they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the establishment of a token securities platform.
The MOU was signed with the purpose of actual construction and testing of the platform to promote the token securities business. Eugene Investment & Securities is responsible for building an issuance platform capable of issuing various underlying assets in the form of token securities based on distributed ledger technology. Delio, planning to enter the over-the-counter brokerage business, will develop a token securities distribution platform and link it with Eugene Investment & Securities’ issuance platform.
Lambda256 will provide its proprietary blockchain solution, 'Luniverse,' and support integration and development with other blockchain platforms for token securities distribution. ITIYZ will be responsible for system integration, developing the user interface for token product registration and subscription on the token securities platform, which requires technical expertise in securities firms’ IT systems.
The project is significant in that it aims to build IT infrastructure to practically carry out the business of 'issuance and distribution of token securities' within the guideline framework of the 'Token Securities Issuance and Distribution Regulatory System Improvement Plan' announced by the Financial Services Commission in February.
On the 12th, a signing ceremony for the MOU to establish the token securities platform was held at Eugene Investment & Securities headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul, with the participation of key executives from Eugene Investment & Securities, Lambda256, ITIYZ, and Delio.
CEO Kyungmo Ko of Eugene Investment & Securities stated, "The project is significant as it represents the pioneering establishment of a token securities platform for future business expansion," adding, "Through strategic and long-term cooperation, we will respond together to future regulatory and technological changes and take the lead in securitizing various rights and creating new investment opportunities, which is the purpose of the token securities business."
CEO Jaehyun Park of Lambda256 said, "Lambda256 has been preparing for the token securities business for a long time," introducing, "We have established ourselves as a market leader through our know-how." He added, "Lambda256 is concretizing collaborations with numerous domestic securities firms, asset companies, and various global companies, and we expect to create a successful reference case in the token securities market through the Eugene Investment & Securities construction project."
Division Head Dongbin Lee of ITIYZ stated, "We will contribute to the activation of token securities by supplying a platform capable of registering and issuing token products, which have garnered significant market interest, leveraging our accumulated work experience and technical expertise."
CEO Jungho Jung of Delio explained, "Delio has successfully operated digital asset finance and infrastructure services similar to token securities for the past five years," and added, "Based on a high understanding of the market and customers, we will provide customer-friendly token securities services."
