Gyeongnam Bank Signs 'Joint Response Agreement for Population Crisis in Local Communities'

Participating Organizations Agree to Mutual Cooperation for Changwon City's 1 Million Population Retention and

Continuous Regional Development

BNK Gyeongnam Bank has signed a 'Joint Response Agreement for Communities Facing Population Crisis.'


The agreement, made on the 12th, involved BNK Gyeongnam Bank, Masanhwoewon-gu, Masan University, Changshin University, the Korea Association of Certified Realtors (Masanhwoewon-gu Branch), and the Korea Food Service Industry Association (Masanhwoewon-gu Branch).

The participating organizations agreed to cooperate mutually to maintain Changwon City's population of one million and to ensure the region's continuous development.


According to the agreement, they will ▲ discover and promote joint projects to increase the population of Changwon Special City ▲ develop and cooperate on youth support projects ▲ establish a mutual cooperation system for the region's long-term development.


Sangho Park, Executive Director of the Credit Sales Headquarters, said, "It is meaningful to participate as an agreement institution amid growing awareness of the crisis caused by population decline. We will cooperate with participating organizations to create an environment where many citizens can reside in Changwon Special City."


Separately from the joint response agreement for communities facing population crisis, BNK Gyeongnam Bank has signed and is supporting a 'Basic Living Fund Support Agreement for Families on Parental Leave' with Changwon Special City to ensure the economic stability of families on parental leave.


This agreement allows loans at the same interest rate as employed workers for those on parental leave. Residents of Changwon City who have lived there for at least one year and have been employed for at least one year can receive funding up to 150 million KRW depending on personal credit and other factors.
