HDC Hyundai Development Company Donates 5 Tons of Rice to Underprivileged Neighbors in Nonsan

HDC Hyundai Development Company announced on the 15th that it conducted a love-sharing donation to help underprivileged neighbors in the Nonsan area in celebration of Family Month.


On the 12th, HDC Hyundai Development Company held a rice donation ceremony at Nonsan City Hall for underprivileged neighbors in the Nonsan area. The rice donated this time, totaling 5 tons, was given to the Nonsan City Social Welfare Council and will be used to support the living of underprivileged neighbors residing within Nonsan City.


Park Kang-hee, chairman of the Nonsan City Social Welfare Council, said, “We sincerely thank HDC Hyundai Development Company for donating to underprivileged neighbors living in the Nonsan area in celebration of Family Month,” adding, “The rice donated this time will greatly help the lives of local residents.”

An official from HDC Hyundai Development Company said, “We hope this rice donation within Nonsan City will help underprivileged neighbors living in the area,” and added, “We will continue support activities for neighbors in need throughout local communities nationwide.”


Meanwhile, since January this year, HDC Hyundai Development Company has been fulfilling its social responsibility and promoting coexistence with local communities through various social contribution activities, including delivering groceries and life bracelets for vulnerable elderly in the Gwangju area, supporting firefighting equipment for paramedics in Gwangju, providing donations and daily necessities for fire victims in Guryong Village, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, volunteering for Han River maintenance around Banpo, tree planting activities in Yongsan, emergency relief for the Gangneung wildfire damage, visiting and volunteering at Geoje Doaegwangwon, and providing rice support in celebration of Parents' Day.
