In particular, President Yoon repeatedly emphasized technological development and invention protection, saying, "We will protect the results of creativity and innovation through strong law enforcement against infringements such as technology leakage." He also promised, "We will foster an innovation ecosystem through financial support, startup activation, and more so that creative and innovative thinking and ideas can lead to economic and social achievements through the commercialization of technology."

He also urged the future generation to embrace innovative thinking. President Yoon emphasized, "Uniform education is drying up children's curiosity and creativity," and added, "It is important to pursue diverse education so that future generations of youth can think creatively and innovatively."

Referring to the Boston cluster he visited during his recent trip to the United States, he said, "A combination of free market mechanisms, fair compensation systems, and government-led strategies is creating new value." He continued, "The challenges and capabilities of inventors will be the driving force not only for economic growth and technological independence but also for ensuring that everyone fairly enjoys the benefits of technology and expands the freedom of global citizens," urging them to continue their challenges with relentless passion.

Meanwhile, about 1,000 people, including recipients of the Gold Tower Industrial Medal and other Invention Day merit awards, their families, youth inventors leading Korea's future, and officials from the Korean Intellectual Property Office, attended the ceremony. Before the event, President Yoon toured a youth invention exhibition that solved everyday inconveniences with creative ideas and encouraged young inventors by observing demonstrations of inventions such as the 'foot-operated umbrella dryer' and the 'recycling compactor using discarded bicycles.'
