Naver Webtoon announced on the 12th that it will exclusively service the original webtoon of the Netflix series "Taekbae Gisa" (Delivery Driver).
The webtoon "Taekbae Gisa" is a post-apocalyptic story where people survive only through delivery services, as severe air pollution restricts outdoor activities. It tells the story of the delivery driver "5-8" and the refugee "Sawol," who dreams of becoming a delivery driver.
Expressing humanity and an apocalyptic future with imaginative storytelling, high-quality artwork, and thrilling action scenes, it first debuted in 2016 and gained great popularity. Interest in the original work is increasing as exclusive serialization on Naver Webtoon's "Maeil+" has been decided ahead of the Netflix series release.
The Netflix series "Taekbae Gisa" will be released simultaneously worldwide at 4 PM today.
