Rare Champagne is a rare product, having selected only 13 vintages since first presenting the 1976 vintage champagne at the Palace of Versailles. The champagne house's founder, Louis Heidsieck, met Queen Marie Antoinette and started Rare Champagne with the phrase "I want to make a champagne worthy of the queen." After drinking Rare Champagne, the golden tiara label, which can be worn like a crown, symbolizes the victorious grapevine.

The Rare 2013 vintage champagne uses Chardonnay (70%) and Pinot Noir (30%). The champagne begins with aromas of green tea, kumquat, and white flowers. Over time, floral and spicy scents become more distinct, and the harmonious blend of fragrant yet smoky contrasting notes is a characteristic feature.

Emilien Bouyer, the cellar master of Rare Champagne, said, "The 2013 Champagne experienced several challenges, including temperatures dropping to minus 12 degrees Celsius, and the 2013 vintage has 40 years of aging potential and a unique personality." He added, "The 2013 vintage champagne shows a bright and rich taste feeling in addition to the tropical and mineral touches, which are core elements of Rare Champagne, presenting an elegant autumn sunlight-like sensation."

The Rare 2013 vintage champagne can be purchased at major department stores, Wine Nara direct stores, Wine Nara online mall, and wine shops. The price is in the 400,000 KRW range.
