Youth Village Activists and Local Youth Photographers Collaboration
The Pohang Urban Regeneration Field Support Center will hold a photo exhibition titled "Facing Each Other, Forest and Sea," themed around Songdo, at the Songdo Pine Forest Urban Forest in Pohang on the 13th and 14th.
This photo exhibition showcases various aspects of Songdo captured through different perspectives, a project collaboratively carried out by young village activists and photographers.
The Urban Regeneration Field Support Center has appointed four young village activists from Handong University, composed of local youth and university students, to derive fresh perspectives and ideas from young people and link them to urban regeneration projects, promoting various initiatives.
The young village activists who planned the program organized this photo exhibition to raise local youth's interest in urban regeneration and Songdo, and stated that they plan to pursue various projects to attract more young people in the future.
The detailed programs of the photo exhibition include ▲ Songdo archiving photo exhibition ▲ Nongtti booth (Pohang Songdo Mangkkongi character) ▲ Photo zone and guestbook zone ▲ Receipt photo event through surveys.
Additionally, they are recruiting the first 10 teams per day to participate in a snap photo shooting event. Participation can be applied for through the Pohang Old Port Urban Regeneration blog and Instagram.
Kwon Yong-gu, Director of Urban Regeneration, said, "I hope many people come and enjoy this photo exhibition," and added, "We will revitalize urban regeneration through generous interest and support for the programs planned by the young village activists."
