Bitseum Co., Ltd. has been selected as the maintenance company to collaborate on the street housing maintenance project underway in the Cheonho 2-dong area of Gangdong-gu, Seoul.
Residents of the area held a "General Meeting of Landowners" on April 20, attended by 41 out of 60 total landowners (including those by proxy). At this meeting, Bitseum Co., Ltd. was chosen as the specialized maintenance management company with a total of 34 votes. Additionally, at this meeting, Joongang Law Firm was selected as the legal representative, and Park Art Comprehensive Architectural Office Co., Ltd. was chosen as the designer, which is expected to accelerate the street housing maintenance project.
The street housing maintenance project in the Cheonho 2-dong area is being conducted through a trust method rather than a cooperative method. In February 2023, Koramco Asset Trust Co., Ltd. was already designated as the development trustee.
In previous small-scale maintenance projects, securing parking lots, parks, maintenance infrastructure, and shared facilities was often challenging. To address these issues, the Seoul Metropolitan Government is actively promoting a new policy called Moa Town. If the Moa Town method is applied to the street housing maintenance project in Cheonho 2-dong, it will be possible to create a much larger apartment complex, maximizing project feasibility and establishing more convenient infrastructure. Accordingly, an application for the Moa Town contest will be submitted, including the Cheonho 2-dong area.
Bitseum Co., Ltd., selected as the specialized maintenance management company at this General Meeting of Landowners, has demonstrated high expertise by being chosen as the specialized maintenance management company for two public redevelopment pilot sites implemented through public support: Heukseok 2 District and Bongcheon 13 District. They expressed their ambition, stating, "Even with new policies and project methods, we will strive to be recognized as a 'guarantee check' company that can be trusted and relied upon."
